Poetic Statement...
Poetry is like a ray of sunshine
It brightens up the darkest days
with words that dance and rhyme
It sets our hearts ablaze
like a warm hug on a cold night
or a cool breeze on a hot day
poetry brings us delight
In its own unique way
It can make us laugh out loud
with its witty and clever lines
or bring tears to our eyes
with emotions that intertwine
It speaks of love and pain
of hope and despair
through its beautiful refrain
It shows us it's okay to care.....
