Umpteen times we pray to God,
Give us this and give us that.
Our wish list is never ending,
Still we keep always offending.
Without realizing what is best,
We complain about the test.
Patience and wait goes high and dry,
Blame game on with cursing cry.
Why this to me and why only I?
Oh, how innocent we are!
Not to think and understand
This life is but a test to pass,
Sorrow and misery are its part.
Award and reward ancillary things,
All our demands are not always met.
Hence we say: Man proposes but God disposes.
Our demands are never ending and what we get is what we do for it. Thoughtful poem again.
Man proposes but God disposes.....right dictum. Beautiful poem is well executed.
HE knows everything and we know not hence we surrender to HIS will and WISHES.

I would like to translate this poem
Without prayer we can not live. God's grace we ever seek. Without his support we cannot lead. God of course redeems us from sorrows and misery. This poem is excellently written.
