Portrait Of 'me'
This is me
What does 'Me' stand for?
Is it the persona of myself
Reflected in this mirror?
Or is it what others view me?
I can say, it is none of the above.
I am not what others see
Rather, I am a sea within,
The depth of which can not be measured
Sometimes, I too fail to understand
My ownself, my emotions and my purpose.
Why do I react to the way
I do to people's questions
Why do I grumble for
Something not given to me?
What I really love to do
Or what I hate
Why for no reasons,
I feel sad and depressed
What ought to be done by me
And what ought not
Why do I fail to reach a goal
I have set for myself
Is it because, I am not doing things rightway?
So many questions I ask
To get a clear portrait of myself.

THESE lines I think could be better: 'What I really love to do Or what I hate Why for no reasons, I feel sad and depressed' AND you've left out more question marks near the end of poem. : )
