Prayer For All Of Us Poem by Rommel Filoteo

Prayer For All Of Us

Rating: 5.0

Dear god,

Most of our life we always desire,
a perfect situation,
a perfect life.
Yet, You, my Lord,
do not grant us a perfect life.
What You give instead is a perfect heart
in the midst of an imperfect life.
Teach us to be cheerful, hopeful, smiling.
Lord, we would like to thank you
for giving us another day to live in this paradise of yours.
Another chance to serve you the best way we can.
Another choice to correct our mistake the best way we could.
Thank you my Lord, because your always there for us
every time we need someone to lean on,
understand us the best way you could,
and love us the best way you can,
in the ups and down of our imperfect life.
Amen....

Amen! Beautiful penning, my friend! Out of such a trying year, two great things have come to me: meeting more wonderful people here on PH the world over, and finding my way back to the Lord. I have asked these things everyday, in the hopes that I may better my understanding and happiness in life, for life is too short to be where I was! This one goes in my favorites, maraming salamat! Mahal, Lee
