Private Changes Poem by Sandra Feldman

Private Changes

It's sad when you can't share,
You're inner fantasies,
Secrets you don't dare,
Air out, publicly.

For even still today,
In 21st 'liberal' century,
Prejudice exists and
There's a certain way,
That changes it resists,
You really never know,
What changes are accepted,
Or by the majority,
Simply rejected
For we are individuals,
And cannot think alike,
Yet we must be tolerant,
And many times accept,
Changes, if not harmful,
That we don't really like.

I'll trade you, my fantasies for yours. Well... maybe that's not a good idea. Anyway, good thinking and good poetry! 10

private changes hmmmm? I thought for sure this was about Bruce Jenner. Gratefully it is not! Get it out in the open! Pronounce it on PH!

It is sad that such a common sense view is not the norm
