Ah pebble, just a pebble,
Pray spare such derision,
It can hold enough treason.
If you hold it high and nigh
And close to your seeing eye,
It blocks your entire vision.
But at arms' length from your eyes,
You see its shape, colour and size,
And feel free from own prison.
Now, drop it at your feet,
You can walk over it.
Learn to follow due reason.
A problem's like a pebble,
And to see so if able,
Solve it; let it simmer, nor season.
A pebble can cause you to tumble,
A growing problem would not crumble,
Split it into handy division.
And yet at a problem on hand,
Ostrich like we dig into sand,
Problem goes, feelings nor frisson! !
