Quiet Genuflection Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Quiet Genuflection

Stage dark and empty, instruments standing empty,
instruments standing alone, awaiting musicians to
bring them to life once again.

Particular stances flow into the atmosphere where
they collect and bring music to the forefront of
this poet's life.

Wishing and watching in the twilight of this sun-
setical shore, awaiting another world beyond this
one.

Loving how our minds flow from one universe to an-
other without so much as a whisper, like snow that's
fallen to the ground.

Snow making a quiet genuflection of acknowledgement
for the moments it's here for our enjoyment, a gentle
prayer from above to us here on earth.
