still i do remember those nursery days
asking the postman passing by my home
do I have any letter please in my name?
he turns his face, my heart rejoices
like peacock dancing to clouds of hope.....
if he runs straight ignoring saddened voice of quest
my pain reverberates by his feeble rejoinder of negation
heart knows its resonance by emptiness of soul
redolence seems to fear of lone uncanny utterance
rill reels through blood by deep silence of sun setting
whom should i ask rune of sorrow when reneged
light when slowly settles in rucks of darkness
earth apprehends of falling snow losing warmth
do we ever know beats of riffling heart beneath quest?
as wrinkles engulf portrayal of art by rain of tears
rain of tears pour anytime from past to future rain of tears are always present...

A beautiful poem of an experience that's indelible in a child's little mind: being disappointed by someone he love or expecting something and not getting it from someone loved. A poem that's well written-as usual. a 10
Wow! You awakend in me a memory. When I was 4 my grandfather sent me a letter. Since I could not quite read yet, he drew the words in pictures. Everyday after that, for quite a while, I would stand under the post box waiting for the mailman. I did not know a letter was rare and needed to be answered. There is a lot to this poem. Thankyou!
your poem moistened my eyes with rain of tears. u r excellent in giving vent to tragic emotions. Carry on brother
