Recognizing The Sun Poem by Denis Mair

Recognizing The Sun

Rating: 5.0

Identity is only as big
As the sphere it inhabits
The sun would be no more than the sum
Of every rule and condition
That allowed it to exist
Unless it set its own conditions
Just as a man lures himself
Through trenches of time
Gleaning gleams and
Snatching reflections
Until his passion for light
Allows him to recognize
The solar power of creation

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

This poem is as brilliant as the powerful sun. " Recognition of the self" or an awakening from within is the fundamental point here. It takes a lot of effort and discipline like 'Yoga' to emerge from darkness and move into light of knowledge. Thank you Denis for the creation of light to recognise the solar power of creation.....10

yes, if the sun is the enlightened spirit (soul) then another soul will be shined more! But for the self recognition needs always another touching it's same even on behalf of God! He was not Creator till His creating works! He was not God till His godly works!

Recognition! it never comes to its own core by itself as long as no one or nothing comes to its comparing scale the sun is sun in solar system there are many suns on the space far from it it any sun comes near to another the what recognition would be no one knows!

A very perceptive write. Wonderful thoughts to ponder about. Beautifully conveyed.
