Silence when grimaced rocks within
rain flows in pain as shocked by the sorrow
like swooning of warmth from the sun
as wrapped by the shadow falling from the clouds
disowning like a leaf green from its stock
as when committed to a cause as promised prime
in deep dead night to the reef of the embrace
singing a song as whisper to the lonely night
as darkness baffles to the queries and call
when latched on to the black fumes in resilience
pain cuddles the stance to stay away from the glooms
with little patience as locked in lattice
as wind saddles the rim of apprehension
path yet coursed blissful as poised in redemption.
Pain will always be a part of living, we will at some point in our lives feel the pangs of pain. We can feel it just gazing into the silence of the early eve looking at the sorrow man has caused the environment, that brings great pain to my heart. We can feel it in the midst of the early morning light when breathing becomes difficult once again due to man's intervention. We feel it within our bodies when stricken with so many ailments caused by poor nutrition. Pain flows all around us, but by the grace of God we can redeem ourselves and live a glorious painless life. Yes I agree with the previous poet 'Geramie', this poem is deep, but we take from it what it brings to us and this is what it brought to me. Thank you Doctor for another one of your precious poems. --Melvina--
Wow...A lot of feeling in this work..I love it. It's amazing.
A life without pain is a life unbearable to the spirit. And fatal for the soul. GR62
Very pleasantly paced poem. Lot's being said and emotion filled in every word.. Loved it!
This is stark, no holds barred poetry and it pulls the punches... which then ricochet - in my direction! !
