Rejuvenation Poem by Tiffany Rose Moczydlowski

Rejuvenation

Clothes and stringy hair
Clinging to wet skin
Covered in
Thousands of individual drops
That absorb all heat
In the downfall
Tumbling from the
Clouds.

A shiver of excitement coursing
Down into my very essence,
Exhilaration and energy
Overriding my control,
Making thoughts within
And bodily exterior
Tremble.

Breathing in the signature
Scent aloft the air
Cleansing my being,
Reawakening my thirst
For life and
Love.

These life-bringing waters
Affecting plants inexclusively,
Not condemning other
Spirits, instead offering
Peace.

A scream reverberating,
Echoing in the damp air,
My mind releasing
Strife.

Swallowtails' melodies responding,
Mingling with the sky's soft
Patter.

No longer resisting, I
Smile.

A very intense and soul stirring Tiffany. Your expressions on the beauty of the rainfall is captivating. reminds me of a song called Raindrops keep falling on my head. Brings instant release to mind, body and soul. Very nicely penned.
