Remember The Days - Poem by Delaney Loes
Remember the days you were there to hold my hand
and wipe away the tears,
you help me tight,
you gave me nothing to fear.
You shined light into my world of darkness,
and even you deepest feelings were confessed.
You wanted me,
you tried and tried again.
Then, you got me.
Now where have you gone?
Where is my light,
Where have you gone?
Do you remember the days...?
We were connected by the soul
We stayed together because our hearts
We were each the gaurdians of eachothers
I thought we were never to part.
But where have you gone?
There's no more light where i hide,
I'm trapped by fear,
The fear which you used to fight away
It's back once more.
Do you remember the days when we were happy?
And each day, hour, minute.
My heart breaks more and more.
Because of you.
You had your fun,
You shared some thoughts
You opened your heart
but only for a while,
this ride you started was short.
Now I'm the one broken at the end.
And when I'm gone
Will you go back to remember those days?
