Repent Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Repent

Rating: 5.0

We can cross path some day
And your face will be down
With shame
You can't see me eye to eye
A face full of guilt is enclosed
In your mind's frame

You did not respond to call of
My heart which was true and
Full of hope
My love was there to guide you
To a world of peace but you did
Not care to stop

I have to choose my path and
Will never give a turn to see if
You are behind
Please don't let your heart sing
A song of love for me I wish you
Not to be so kind

I can drink the hemlock of pain
Sleeping under sky draped in a
Shroud of remorse
I promise not to come on your way
Like a obstinate stone blocking
A stream's course
