Hoisting the flag,
Reciting the anthem,

Freedom fighters and martyrs,

Delivering speeches,
Singing patriotic songs,

The sad part is it comes once a year and we gather to celebrate it but how about 364 days when we hardly care about our nation, fellows, neighbours etc....Let us keep this gathering 365 days...and think for other fellow living with us and spread the message of peace and love. A thought provoking poem for me.10++
