Ripples Poem by Muhammad Ali

Ripples

Rating: 5.0

One is truth
Any shade else
Lies in me

Past survives
Anyhow, present
Dies in me

Folks should learn
How they die
Rise in me

Fool, I shout
He plays quiet
Wise in me

Out is heaven
Burn if they burn
Sighs in me

Out I smile
Holding my all
Whys in me

This made me think back to growing up...When we are young, we ask our parents 'why, why, why...' When we grow up, we often ask the same questions...but they are aimed back at us. A great verse, Ali.

Question in minds asking why and why...but words in mouth answer is somehow, somehow... I personally think that i should be credited for this beautiful work, because we never discussed about this...and rhymes? i dont really write rhymes these days...i just write simple. So please notice that your beautiful thoughts are purely yours and you are talented. Take it
