Rise Up From Slumber
M-orning warmth in the sky
I-s bathing you with light;
A-iming to make you glad as it replaces the night.
M-ist, haze, and fog
A-re nowhere to be found;
D-ark shadows disappear,
A-bove the brightened ground.
Y-our birth is remembered
O-n fourth day of December;
S-weet greeting is written while you rise up from slumber.
