Robbed Poem by Deborah Cromer

Robbed

Rating: 5.0

Sssssstill within the womb of this relationship
Drunk with energy by only just one, tasteful sip
The newborn life of togetherness, is our company
Our souls together, bonding through touch, always free
The love of yesterday, deeply embedded, in my every breath
A new world created and adored, only through one's death
Silence so loud, piercing warm thoughts, that chill me to the bone
Only while realizing, my thinking leaves me, very alone

Silence so loud, piercing warm thoughts, that chill me to the bone Only while realizing, my thinking leaves me, very alone these are wonderful words, conveying more than a message...silence so loud..reflecting pain, grief, solitude....warm thoughts chilling me to the bone again reflecting deep pain.......then the final line is a killer....my thinking leaving me alone.....very alone.....that's poetry...putting life in a collection of words and making a poem outta them..........
