Romantic Departure Poem by Sandra Feldman

Romantic Departure

Rating: 5.0

They loved each other
Like no one,
Would have ever,
Believed,
In the eyes of the Sunset
They prayed together,
That the other
Should never leave.
But as fatality
Would have it
Great Loves
Never does Destiny
Together,
Keep.

Love,
So hard to find
So lovingly kept
So easily lost,
Theirs
Even brought
Tears
To the eyes of those,
Who'd never wept!
