Rotten Apple. Poem by Nabakishore Dash

Rotten Apple.

Rating: 5.0

Poison glands and fangs
in the upper jaw contain
the venom of snakes.
Flies store the same
in their heads.
Scorpions have venom
in their tails,
toxins are not localised
but present all over
the bodies and minds
of rotten apples
who always strive
to drive other lives
to hail where one ails
to their gail.

A brilliant description and depiction of a person with an evil heart and mind. I concur with the comment of Poet Anil Kumar Panda. A well crafted poem.
