Been quiet
Been quiet at last
As if ever no tumult

No wind can be heard
Nor the murmuring of leaves
As if ever no voice

Too much kindness disappeared
Too many lives vanished
Ever short of devils in the globe?

Brightness is lost
The Moon cried her eyes blind
In a gigantic fire the Sun died

Only water
Can escape from the scene
All the way to the Pacific Ocean
