Once a peach tree is planted
So is the melancholy for a lifetime.
This sweetheart whom I eager to but don't dare meet
Stands by the river outside of my village indeed

Spring comes
With rain and gentle breezes
The tree, full of pink blossoms
Produces endless dreams

It's too ripe to breathe
And no one dares touch. It seems
That a stare would cause its soft skin
To shed tears of feeling wronged
because of its shyness

No matter where, everyone has right to plant it
When branches are laden with fruits
Who'd like to pick them
And who's willing to have a gentle bite

I like this poem very much. A laden and layered one. I have enjoyed the futile metaphors and it was a very pleasant read, a wonderful treat. Thank you so much for sharing your cutest poems to be pondered upon. True beautiful poetry! I don't give this poem a TEN, this poem so wonderfully worded, deserves much much more than a 10 Vote.

The symbolism that lies between nature and man is wonderfully captured here.
