It's the same old picture,
but with different colours;
It's the same old people,
but with different faces;
It's the same old lessons,
that we will never learn;
It's the same old problems,
but with different excuses;
It's the same old script,
but with different words;
It's the same old story,
I wish I'd never heard.

Same old story but with a refreshingly new idiom. It is a pleasure reading this poem due to its content and flawless flow of words. Thanks for sharing.
Like it, a great poem and so true, most stories are the same, if you've heard one you've heard them all.
Same old things, deeds, acts, daily chores that we keep doing and regretting is expressed in a satirical tone. Well crafted sir!
