Say The Word - Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Say the word
I will disappear
I'll pack my bags
And hitchhike to somewhere
Where I'll be accepted
Say the word
I'll disappear
Without a returning address
Where I cannot be found
Where you cannot use
A private dick to find me
Maybe I'll go back home to my Ma
Then you'll realize that I wasn'to so bad
But you won't find me
Though you would say the word
And I'll be back in yr world
Before you know it

Sounds painful but also makes you seemed empowered,
you were honest as to how you felt and laid the law very firmly, good for you!

Very heart touching poem on break up. Unrequited love hurts very much. It is better to walk away in search of a better life. Loved it. (Report)Reply

A breakup is like a wound that bleeds the soul, walking away is walking towards a better day. Heartfelt and relatable. (Report)Reply

To be tied to a love that is not returned is painful. A 10 (Report)Reply
