Saying To Say It Said Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Saying To Say It Said

A saying to say it said.
Has been said to say it.
Heard to hear more,
To ignore.
Than truth to face.
Many refuse to accept.
With it wanted to wish,
More lies to them told.
To confirm what their eyes,
Only that which many seek.
Sought to believe.
Making reality,
An offensive way today to live!
And excuses, alibis made to create,
The truth and only the truth.
Leaving reality,
An excusable victim of murder!
