Seasons And Days Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Seasons And Days

When will I achieve
a redeeming love
to lift me from
these twisting streets of loneliness
and lingering deceit?

I want someone I can trust
with all my dreams
and soul beliefs
and to be trusted with the same.

There are hopes
that can never be realized,
there are opportunities
that can slip through the hands
like the slightest grains of sand.

There may yet be lips
I will touch or kiss,
but I know, the seasons and days
of forever and two becoming one,
have ceased from wafting in the breeze
of my existence.

Connecting to the very soul of this scribe, you speak for all of us who still search and seek. Quite beautifully precise. PEACE.
