Mesmerized in my thoughts,
I was surprised
Seeing you so suddenly
Like you walked
Out of one of my sweetest dreams
Into my life.
You see, I’m always astonished
By your presence;
I could never enumerate all the reasons
I find you so amazing.
I could live my life
In the pure beauty of your eyes,
Bide my time in the night
Beside your bed
Watching you breathe,
Say all my prayers
For the protection of your essence.
Love has been predominantly
Alien to me,
But I know I love you.
