1 - Senryu (also called human haiku) is an unrhymed Japanese verse consisting of three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables (5,7,5) or 17 syllables in all. Sometimes I use less syllables to preserve the minimalism of a haiku or a senryu. I think it's more important than the syllables 's number. Using past tense is a mistake I do but I prefer to call it peronal signature! Thanks!
