Serendipity Poem by Walterrean Salley

Serendipity

Rating: 5.0

Struggling with a verse,
Trying to set a rhyme.
But couldn’t make it work
For the lack of certain chime.

So I decided to rest,
Turning off the light.
Then sudden 'harmony'—
Much to my delight.

And with a pleasant sigh,
I turned the light back on—
Starting where I’d left off
To complete the poem.

ha! happens to me too...before i'd be too sleepy and tell myself i'll remember it in the morning...not true! you have to get up and jot it down or it's forever gone!
