Shadows
As loneliness sighs,
Tears, glide
Hope, also
Generally, dies,
It's hard to reach out,
To go about
Knowing that shadows,
Cannot bring light,
Nor fulfillment
To an empty life.
Well written poem on sadness, but it is not just this poem which is sad, a series of your latest poems all speak of sadness. Hoping there will come a day soon when you can write uplifting poems again as you used to write last January.
