She Descends Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

She Descends

She descends

I always sate
With curse on fate
Drop some tears on ground
And again go round

I like silver moon
And hope to meet her soon
I sit under big tree
Feel relaxed and free

She had once promised
Not to stay alone and remain seized
With memory even if she had gone
To the far off place called heaven

I obey her words
And pray lord
To grant her peace of mind
And show all kindness

I extend myself on ground
And find something around
I find steps as if she is descending on earth
I keep eyes closed and take heavy breathe

She Descends
