She Would Eat The Crust Of The Pizza - Poem by Susie Sunshine

When we use to go to the Skin and Cancer Clinic. I would go to the desk. To see whaen we would be next. Sometimes it would feel like hours that we were waiting to see the doctor. As we would walk to the train station. We would stop and eat. I would eat the pizza. My mom would always eat the crust of the pizza. This is something I will always remember. And will never forget. It's just one of the special things that meant something special that we shared together. written 2/12/08 Posted 4/11/08
