sitting on cedar knees
my feet touching water
am trying to write yours
ripples keep on erasing
i close my eyes if i could
trace flight path you took
over those mountain ridges
weaving wheat field; stream
flapping wings echoes over
valley of promising shelter
gliding to peaceful flow
unknowing of what's below
interrupted by splashing
fish chasing teasing minnow
yes i remember you, sleep
enjoy waning hours of deep
flapping wings echoes over valley of promising shelter gliding to peaceful flow....oh what a beautiful description.....the words you use, the expressions.. they are marvelous. a marvelous dream.. thank you dear poet. tony
