Silken Thread
Each silken thread
woven with grace
shining, enticing
luring its prey
A welcome sign in
crystal illumination
hypnotizing with precision
unsuspecting passersby
the silken thread
will catch their eye
This silken thread
all paved with gold
one wrong step
your future's told.
Yeah the silken thread looks is beautiful and it catches the fly too like a web. Nice work. Keep inking.
I love this one, I love it! ! ! One wrong step..your futures told! ! ! A ten most well deserved. You just inspired me to write a poem along a similar line of thought, wonderful! ! !
Wonderful work and a joy to read. Spiders webs are a work of art in their beauty and construction.

I DID find that in U.K. there is a different spelling for hynotising, so I've left that, although I 'mistakenly' nudged Annette into changing it from hypnotising to the American/Canadian spelling, hynotizing, on her poem's page. Damn language differences! ! ! :) ================ bri ;)
