Simple Gaze Poem by Silentpoet Grl

Simple Gaze

Rating: 5.0

your simple gaze it caught my eye
we locked into each others glances
and for a moment we held onto forever
sharing a secret point of stopped time
but for awhile nothing else mattered
as if you were seeing into my soul
I pondered if someone actually saw me
with that slight smile and whispered hello
reaching out hoping to take your hand
instead though as quick as our lives collided
it was already vanished, you broke away
turned and was already lost in the sea of faces
how do I now have a feeling of missing you
maybe because I know you felt it too
In our shared moment of forever there was that spark
our souls spoke and we truly understood each other.

Is it love at frist sight? In that very moment all is magically interpreted by two witnesses. Wonderfullly written, Silentpoet Girl. Keep-on claiming, searching, inspiring, bestowing...Thanks for pampering us with such a valuable poem...A very excellent write again. Virginia
