Snakes In Wait Poem by Sandra Feldman

Snakes In Wait

Rating: 5.0

People are ungrateful,
Many brains seem
To have shrunk,
And Listen to void
Demagogues, so that
They can't distinguish
Right from Wrong,
Nor smell,
Treasonous skunk!

Pity!
Such stupidity,
Such blindness
Still exists,
And that behind,
The illicit
Propaganda,
They can't see
The Snakes
That lie and hiss.

A powerful and very incisive write. A depiction of anger and frustration. A cry of.the weaknesses of humanity. Well expressed and presented.
