Snapshot Poem by Midnight Clarity

Snapshot

Rating: 5.0

my parents posed me

for a photograph,

holding a hibiscus

no doubt red...

and by the time they

turned to take the picture

I had eaten the flower

even then I knew

how to live

This is the first time you have caused me to laugh out loud with one of your poems. Thanks I needed it.
