Snow Globe Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Snow Globe

I saw how beautiful the world was through your eyes.
I saw the spheres that contained snow that swirled round and round.
Landing beautifully upon the scenery of your smile.
The high painted arches each time you grin.
You showed me just how beautiful the world was, just standing still.
Underneath the clouds that never breathed unless you were near.
Swirling round and round. Pellets of snow etched the tops of trees
How could you walk away knowing the pieces that sat.
How fragile they were, the buildings that stood.
I couldn't imangine a world with out you.
I couldn't imangine being here in a world without you.
Not knowing when I'd see your reflection in a world that stood still.
A mere reflection on the outside looking in
