Sod's Law Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Sod's Law

Rating: 5.0

I think i'll take a nice soak in the bath,
Everything seems quiet and calm,
Plenty of bubble bath,
Some radox for aches,
A nice peaceful soak,
Is just what it takes.
I decide to lie back,
And then close my eyes,
There's a bang on the door,
Now that's a surprise!
My phone starts ringing,
The doorbell's going mad!
What started out a peaceful hour,
Is beginning to turn out bad.
It's just sod's law,
Why, i'll never know?
I've been on my own all day,
Not heard or seen a soul.
Life is meant to try us,
Mysterious for sure,
When you least expect it,
Sod's law will call on you.

Indeed, 'if something can go wrong, it will' hence positive thinking is always preferred.5**
