Solace Of Words Poem by Clive Culverhouse

Solace Of Words

The night protects anxiety
From day's intrusive glare
As walls protect entirety
From those outside of here

The trees protect by standing tall
From roamers of my path
As Knowing Ones protect my call
From prejudice some have

My words protect by helping me
To understand my thought
As Knowing words protect and see
Without my mind is fraught
