Song: Much About You - Poem by David SmithWhite

I don’t - know too much about you - baby!
But I won’t - live my life without you - baby!
Love is real - at least that’s what they say.
I'll prove I love you - and move you - every way.
Oh yes I’ll love you - and keep you in my sway.
I guess I’ll love you - until the end of days...

I don’t - know too much about you - baby!
I can’t - pull the wool or cruel you - baby!
Life is short - I think I heard it said.
Will you favour me - to walk soft in your tread?
How should I savour you - my sweet-meat daily bread?
Or do I crave you - to feed my ego’s cred...?

I don’t - know too much about you - baby!
I can't - believe you'd up and leave me - baby!
Love is good - at least that's what I think.
Will it unnerve you - if I write in violent inks?
I long to serve you - while my mind is on the brink.
I’ve gotta have you - and take you in like drink...

I don’t - know too much about you - baby!
I know - unrequited lust will drive me - crazy!
All things pass - I’ve heard the old cliché.
I would enfold you - like babes in arms at play.
I should involve you - to make you want to stay.
I long to hold you - and keep your fears at bay., ,

I don’t - know too much about you - baby!
I shan't - ask for more than you know - baby!
Love is hard - when troubles lie ahead.
Death's the end - for a long time are we dead.
So I must love you - the thought reels in my head.
I must give you - the faith to banish dread.
And forgive you - for all the tears I’ve shed...

I don’t - know too much about you - baby!
I just - want to touch and feel you - baby!
So - you know - that's just how it must go.
Unfailing instinct - to parry every blow.
I would unlink you - from every chain or bow.
I mean to drink you - for my cup doth overflow...!

This song is really really cool. Excellent expression, but it is probably just lust, as you don't know much about the baby! lol 10 from grinning Tai (Report) Reply
