I am flattered. Moved. And still a tiny bit confused, if you'll excuse me. The soulful bird flies from the grasp of understanding each time I approach, so wispy and ethereal is the reference, without a hint of that real existence that might bring the poem 'round for me. Wait, just, a, minute. Charlie Parker? 'Round Midnight? Could be, could be. A whole forest would then be intoned (intoned, get it?) then. I thank you for your attention to my work and am humbled to think it brought a spark of creativity to yours.
