When your first speech was applauded
Sky high you began to aim
For a place among the far stars
Messaging usefully
You spoke, spoke, spoke
And spoke and overdone
Who cares about your racing
To marry the moon..
Of course the moon doesn't
A parched throat
With a cracked voice
Where does the beauty lie
'A friend's frown is better than
a fool's smile'
Even the first three Iines are catching.we all aim for a place among the stars
Let me quote, 'Who cares about your racing To marry the moon.. Of course the moon doesn't A parched throat With a cracked voice Where does the beauty lie'
A wonderful poem that speaks how sometimes we get befooled by our desire to reach unrealistic goals. We run after mirage and get frustrated at the end.
Deep and exquisitely penned is this insightful creation of yours. Great lines nicely put together with conviction. Thanks for sharing, Madam. Remain enriched.
