Spoil Curry Poem by Amitava Sur

Spoil Curry

Rating: 5.0

This life
Is very simple
And so beautiful it is.
It's creative, innovative
with an enormous energy.

But being trapped and drowned
In desire and greed,
Intoxication, delusion, jealousy and anger,
In someway or other,
Those six vices, for sure
Spoil our life at last! !

You're second stanza describes well what most politicians and criminal people do. Those things sure spoil life's curry, not a very nice thing to do to such a delicious stew. Excellent poem, Thank you, dear Sir.

Enjoyed this spoiled curry analogy very much. As a cook so close to my everyday life. Little out of proportion and you got a rotten dish on hand. Life is very much like that.Thank you for sharing it.

Your title of the poem is so justified. Really a person intoxicated with vices is nearer to spoiled life. An intensive poem I like most. Thanks for sharing. - - 10

Great truth in your curry. We put so much into living, all we ask in return is those simple things.
