Stay By My Side Poem by Luz Hanaii

Stay By My Side

Rating: 4.2

Stay by my side as my light grows dim,
blood drags down,
nerves shatter with stabbing pains,
heart grow weak and the wheels of being turn slowly.

Stay by my side as my frail body wracked with pain
reaches truth and a maniacal time keeps on scattering dust
and furious life continues to launch flames.

Stay by my side as I slowly wind down
and you can signal the end of my struggles
in the dusk of my eternal days
in the low and obscure border of life.

Wow! I love this stunning write that is like a prayer for the comfort of God's love and his friendship as the struggle of life when health deteriorates and the need for faith to have eternal peace! !

Such a touching poem, everyone shares life but none share the death.
