i was thinking of what to say about the shape of the poem; Simone saved me time. tall slender bronze? ? ? a woman? does the topic concrete refer to dried cement? is the TSB a bronze statue on a concrete pedestal? a TALKING, SHOE-WIELDING OR SHOE-WEARING woman? ? ? CUTE. bri ;)

Thanks Bri! It is definitely about a woman..and a good call...yep, there is a metaphor about pedestals....Concrete poetry is for the form, type. Concrete poems convey at least part of their meaning through visuals...

A wonderful example of a struggle to keep focused on the conversation when ones thoughts are pressing on other matters. Love the shoe shape of the poem too.10
