Still - Poem by Jess Broadway

And I’m still here, still going strong
Still at home where I belong
Still standing tall with my head held high
Still breaking my heart, still wanting to cry.

Still looking back on all gone bad
Still feeling alone, lost and sad
Still fooling myself and the people around
Still stuck in this life, in which I am bound

Still wanting to run away and hide
Still fixing my damaged, shattered pride
Still wearing my heart right here on my sleeve
Still not wanting the truth that I cannot believe

And I’ll still be here when time is old
Still learning from memories that I hold
Still having hope in all that is true
Still having faith in the almighty you.
