Still We Shall Stand Poem by Obed dela Cruz

Still We Shall Stand

Rating: 4.0

Towers and mega-structures may instantly fall
And priced commercial lands be left barren and dull.
But by having faith in God and a moving hand
We’ll rise and rebuild our world and still we shall stand.

Sacks of gold may be stolen from our trusted banks
And the earth’s most expensive diamonds become junks,
But still we shall enrich ourselves of the true riches.
Still we shall stand and have peace even in crisis.

Though we may stand in front a poisonous snake
And in great fear of what shall happen next we shake,
O with our strength let us do everything to live!
Still we shall stand and God’s protection we’ll receive.

No matter what we have today and tomorrow
Still we shall stand and into what’s good we shall go.
