Street Poetry Free Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

Street Poetry Free

Comrade,

The prices are too much
You do not allow to march
The downpressing is too heavy
The train has lost all gravy
Stolen by Collen the pollen
Bees can't do their calling
Lest we forget the war
The need, the creed, the mores

We want freedom
In this our kingdom
To recite our street poetry
Like in war eat poultry
Individually collectively grow
You should know
History repeats itself
Read books on the shelf

Books of street poetry
Pouring under tree
The freedom tree
Street poetry free
