Such A Place, I'Ll Never Forget Poem by Janelle Morehart

Such A Place, I'Ll Never Forget

One mistake
Two mistakes
Three mistakes
And oh so many more
This country of ours will be bathed
From shore to glorious shore
How can this have happened
Where did it all go wrong
Such a vile place
Run by greed and doubt
Hatred and Vanity
Oh so much insanity
Give unto me
A haven to be free
Take away from me
The pain of living in this land
This home of the brave
What a land of the free
All I can see in pain and misery
All I feel is suffering
So take a gun and join along
We'll all know soon
Where we truly belong
In the ground
So far in the dirt
Chemicals and weapons
Death and revenge
What a land
Oh what a place
One where no one
Has a face..

I'm comprehending that this is related to war. I liked 'Run by greed and doubt Hatred and Vanity Oh so much insanity' Really strong voice, I love it.
