Sunday Hat Poem by Lamar Cole

Sunday Hat

Rating: 5.0

She stands at the bus stop.
A strong wind blows off her pink Sunday hat.
She rushes to pick it up.
She trips and falls.
But she is helped up by a gentleman so handsome and tall.
This chance meeting must have been fate.
Because it ended up with them taking a bite out of their wedding cake.

How sweet! This is a fairy tale story! Sometimes, fate pulls you to your desired goal. The young lady met her soul mate. Very well done, Lamar! A full vote for this poem.

A pretty lovely gullible Chinese lady Comes to the USA for studies She misses her bus at the bus stop She was going to sign a house lease A man looking like a gentleman Gives her a ride but takes her to his apartment. Rapes her. Murders her. Dumps her somewhere Her fate didn't end up in a wedding cake. Source: Current news in Chicago.
